COVID-19 Ticketing Terms and Conditions
Booking information made through Bangarra Dance Theatre including Name, Phone and Email will be submitted to the venues in accordance with contract tracing legislation.
Additional venue safety protocols will be enforced in accordance with government and venue policies, including social distancing measures.
If you are unable to attend your performance due to illness or contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case, or due to government imposed restrictions:
- Ticket exchange options may be available for future performances of the same production, subject to availability. Exchange fees will be waived.
- If ticket exchange into the same production is not possible, a gift voucher for the value of tickets purchased with three year validity will be issued, or a tax-deductible donation for the value of the ticket may be made.
- Where required by law, Bangarra will only provide refunds in our absolute discretion.

Call us on 02 9251 5333. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am - 4pm (Sydney time).
At the venue
Pending availability and the venue's operation status, tickets may be available to purchase from the venue Box Office.
What are Bangarra’s booking fees for ticket purchases?
$5 per transaction for online bookings.
$8 per transaction for phone bookings.
Third party sellers, such as ticketing agencies and venue box offices, will charge different fees to Bangarra.
Can I get a refund for my tickets?
All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable in accordance with the Ticketing Code of Practice - Live Performance Australia and Bangarra's ticketing policy.

Can I exchange my tickets?
Tickets purchased through Bangarra
If you booked your tickets with Bangarra, we may be able to offer an exchange to a different performance in the same city, in the same season. The exchange fee is $5 per ticket; downgrades do not attract a refund. All exchanges are subject to availability and must be finalised a minimum of three (3) working days prior to the scheduled commencement of a performance.

Tickets purchased through a venue
If you booked your tickets through another venue, please contact their Box Office about their exchange policy.
Can I choose my seats when booking tickets?
Yes, pending availability.
Can I purchase a concession ticket?
Concession Tickets vary between venues. Please ensure you provide your proof of concession when arriving at the venue.
Available concessions for tickets purchased through Bangarra Dance Theatre are:
- Under 30s – an official document that clearly shows your date of birth.
- Seniors – a copy of your Australian Government issued Seniors Card.
- Concession – a copy of your Australian Government issued Concession/Pensioners Card.
Why haven't I received my tickets?
Tickets purchased through Bangarra Dance Theatre will be emailed to you 24 hours before your performance. If your contact details have changed please call us on 02 9251 5333.
Tickets purchased through venues may vary in their delivery method. Please contact their box office for best advice.
I have access requirements; how do I book?
If you have specific access requirements, please contact the venue box office directly who will provide the best advice about seating and getting to the venue.
Bangarra Dance Theatre also offers complimentary tickets to valid Companion Card holders. Please have your card number and expiry date available at the time of purchase.
What will happen if I arrive late for my performance?
For the comfort and convenience of all patrons, latecomers can only be admitted into the auditorium at a suitable break in the performance. If this occurs, you may not be seated in your ticketed seat, rather in an area adjacent to the entrance.
Bangarra Dance Theatre strongly recommends planning your journey and arriving thirty minutes before your scheduled performance.
Where can I redeem my Gift Voucher?
Bangarra Dance Theatre Gift Vouchers can by redeemed for events and merchandise sold directly through Bangarra Dance Theatre, and cannot be used for tickets purchased through venue box offices.
What is Bangarra's Ticketing and Merchandise Policy?
